Stephanie's work in television, film and theater is driven by an intense curiosity about the nature of human consciousness, deep political convictions and a dark sense of humor. During her time in theater she founded an itinerant theater company in Milwaukee, staged a sold out production of SKINHEAD HAMLET in Chicago, and wrote plays about the afterlife under the tutelage of avant-garde American playwright Mac Wellman.
After she switched her focus to documentary film and TV, she worked under Oscar nominated director RJ Cutler on his Emmy award winning series AMERICAN HIGH; and Oscar nominated director Morgan Spurlock on his Peabody award winning series 30 DAYS. She has produced and written episodes of the acclaimed CNN series BELIEVER with Reza Aslan; the Daytime Emmy nominated PLANET PRIMETIME; and CATFISH: THE UNTOLD STORIES. She has also written sewing challenges for PROJECT RUNWAY, and produced an international special for AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR.
She is currently in post production on her short feature ABUNDANCE, and in development on a documentary feature about women and video games.
